Finally getting to some of the issues

 2020 has been something of a ... weirdest time in our realm.  However Paul my first mate is able to give   me hand about the issues we must deal with.  Doing it "on water" represents its own complications. So far so good...

And there are the inside issues which are again have to play a role ....

And the fore deck area... you can possibly tell ... that we are busy...

First trip with new bottom paint

Actually this was our first trip this year...

and of course more life from a 9 year old...

OktoberFest Emerald

AIDEN SKY TRAMBONE... this kid was the highlight of our existence for the 2 days. Perfect weather.

Balboa Boat Yard

New Boat Yard to work with because the one I used to deal with in MDR is not hauling anybody with a wooden boat... the bolshevicks in LA do not want anyone to restore and a fabulous yacht... they are more into buy buy buy the new and plastic stuff.  I get it but that is not my scene...

I found this boat yard in Newport Harbor, which by the way is an amazing place to be.

my nerves were shot... always super nervous when she gets to be handles by new people...

Haul Out, survey, bottom paint

Work, work work... Bagarre is in horrible shape... everyone who saw her said so... surveyor is doing a job to perfection... super sad because the ownership change is right around the corner... bottom is painted but I think we'll only have insurance for harbor only...
The rains this year did not help...

And the racers have to be included... obviously these people are into boats and this place is unique...

So Many Years and We Visit 1st. class

Newport Harbor is the real "shit"  so many older boats and people fixing them giving them a "facelift"... I am in a place which is hard to imagine the only word come to mind is truly Heaven.

Being next to John Wayne's, Wild Goose is almost unbelievable...

This place is a bubble... I love it... Darl does have a business over here and that is the reason we came here for...
